That's (Wyatt Earp’s pistol’s) fake, right?

Many know the story of the legendary lawman of the American West, Wyatt Earp—they’ve heard the stories about Dodge City, or they’ve read about his famous gunfights in Arizona, but what they don’t know is that Wyatt Earp made the long trip up to Alaska in the late nineteenth century.

While the exact reason for his trip remains unclear, there are several theories for why Earp came to Alaska. Some say it was his desire for adventure; others say it was his lawman mentality pushing him to tame the Klondike’s lawless environment, but most just believe it was the possibility of striking it rich.
